EthnoDesignFashionWeek (EDFW) is set to establish itself as an ethnocentric directional fashion week. Focusing on ethno-and-ecological designing, the EDFW programme combines ecology with creativity. Alongside our catwalk show schedule our programme includes fashion events, lectures, exhibitions, retail initiatives and parties. As well as a showcase for participating designers, EDFW provides a stage for the growing ecological segment, that so far is increasingly becoming en`vogue at existing mainstream trade events and traditional couture weeks. To be inaugurally held in Harare the capital of Zimbabwe, our city has a lot to offer: cultural activities, environment and tourism, its basically an inspiring place to visit and a vibrant place to do business. Showcase Editions of EDFW will be held through the first week of December 2007 and are aimed at attracting a growing audience of directional international brands, buyers and press.
